Matilda Mae's Flower Release: Update

A couple of weeks ago I posted about the sad passing of a beautiful baby girl, Matilda Mae. I also wrote about a sponsored flower release I am organising in memory of Matilda Mae. I have far surpassed the target I set myself so a HUGE thank you to all those who have sent donations. If you would like to contribute too, there is a donate button at the top of my blog, under my header. Any amount is really gratefully received and all funds are going to Bliss, a charity for premature and sick babies, a cause close to Matilda's mummy.

I have decided to have the flower release on Sunday March 10th. Matilda Mae's funeral is during the week and I wanted to do something as close to that date as I could. I am heading to nearby Formby Beach, a National Trust site with beautiful landscape and lots of wildlife. A perfect place to say my own goodbye to Matilda Mae and let her flowers float away peacefully. Matilda's mummy has asked guests to wear pink and purple to her funeral, so to honour this I will be releasing beautiful pink and purple Gerbera's into the sea.

If anyone would like to join us at the release please do let me know. Anybody is welcome to come along and say their own farewells to this beautiful girl.
