Review & Giveaway: Bobux Shoes

When Baby J was six months old he had a pair of Bobux Shoes. I wasn't really one for putting shoes on babies as to me it felt a bit pointless. However those shoes were lovely - they were really easy to put on his wriggly feet, and more importantly they stayed on! The leather was super soft and comfy and the little digger design on the front was so cute, I got many comments on them.

So when I was recently asked if I wanted to try another pair for him I was really keen to give their older stages a try. When I looked at the website I couldn't believe the choice! J is now walking, and running, really steadily and is a size 6 so he fitted the i-walker range.

I decided on the grey Up & Away sports shoe as whilst J has a few pairs of running around, getting grubby shoes, he has grown out of his last pair of nice but casual shoes.

When they arrived I was so thrilled to open them. You can immediately tell they are high quality - the upper is made of leather, with a soft leather inside for comfort. The sole is flexible rubber which molds to their feet and has a tread pattern to grip and protect them when they are outside. The bit I loved was that, whilst it looks like they are laced, there is a Velcro strip across making putting them on and off really easy, rather than fiddling with laces. It also means that J will be able to learn to put them on and off himself much better.

But most importantly, they look great! I have always bought Clarks as my mum instilled in me that every child must own a pair of 'nice' Clarks shoes. I feel that these definitely match up to Clarks quality and I would happily buy these again.

If you are worried about getting the right size, the Bobux site has a guide on how to measure your child's feet, and if you are concerned they are happy to answer any questions via email or twitter. The shoes also arrived really quickly and if you are in a rush they offer express delivery, just to make sure you are kitted out for that last minute party!

Bobux shoes can be bought from newborn, right up until size 11 (190mm) and come in boys and girls styles ranging from sandals to boots, so there is something for everyone!

Just for that little bit extra, Bobux have offered one reader the chance to win a pair of their shoes worth up to £40! To enter, follow the Rafflecopter below.
